You can use this flash utility to update the firmware of CDU926S. The new
firmware on this floppy is 1.1f and the filename is 926S11F.BIN.

To use this flash utility, you should setup the drive with SCSI ID 6 and
connect to a ASPI compatible SCSI host adapter. You need to start your PC with
DOS or using the option Command Prompt Only from Windows 95 startup. To use
the Command Prompt Only, you can press F8 when the PC shows Starting Windows 95
during bootup. In the CONFIG.SYS, you should remove all other device drivers
and only use the DOS ASPI driver. For example, the CONFIG.SYS should look like
the following for using AHA2940:

DEVICE=ASPI8DOS.SYS /D

When the DOS manager starts, it will scan the SCSI bus, and display the inquiry
data of the CDU926S. If not, you should check the SCSI ID and the termination.
Once the CDU926S is recognized by the DOS ASPI manager, you can use the
following command to update the firmware:

FLASHUPD 926S11F.BIN 6

The CDU926S LED will be amber for 10 to 20 seconds during the update. DON'T
turn off the power during this period. The LED will then change to green and
the update is done. You can check the inquiry data by using the command FCMD.
The FCMD will scan the SCSI bus and display all the inquiry data. The inquiry
data of the CDU926S will show the firmware version.
